Our time in Bali has come to a close, so sad!
For our final night we headed to Sanur, to be closer to the airport.
Sanur’s a bit more developed than we have been used to (but not as busy as other towns in the south of Bali!), so much chose to stay a little off the main streets in a gorgeous compound called Klumpu.
This is a calm and quiet place, and the staff were so lovely, they made us feel really special! There were so many extra touches, like virgin mojitos on our arrival, a welcome sign, a fruit basket and afternoon tea…all sprinkled with our favourite frangipani flowers!
Just look at the breakfasts we were served!
Sanur’s lovely to stroll around; there’s a promenade along the seafront where you can see the odd fishing boat.
From the bay, you can even see as a far as Agung!
If you’re looking for the ‘real’ Bali though, we wouldn’t recommend staying in Sanur for your entire trip! There is so much more to discover in this beautiful country and Sanur doesn’t even touch the sides!
Bali, this is a very fond and sad farewell, on the night of a full moon. We will be back!
